Christmas Cheer is a non-profit organization supported by the United Way, community organizations, churches and individuals that provides Christmas gifts to the children and elderly of Alamance County.  The majority of names of families who qualify are received from Social Services and area school social workers.  Christmas Cheer also accepts applications for this special assistance from the community at large.  After all applications are processed, families and elders are sponsored by organizations, churches and individuals.  Every effort is made to provide gifts for each and every child and elder of Alamance County who has made an application.

St. Andrew’s has supported Christmas Cheer for a number of years by adopting children and elders.  Our parish has responded each year and has gives generously to the children and elders.  When the gifts are delivered, the happy faces and grateful thanks are enough to warm the hearts of each of us.
